Governance

Built on trust

Good governance is a competitive advantage when applied at the right level and at the right time. At pre-seed, this means simple habits that reduce friction and scale naturally.

What we focus on

Clear foundations

Well-organised core documentation from day one. Cap table, contracts, corporate records, key agreements. Nothing fancy, just clean and accessible.

Pragmatic security

Stage-appropriate security practices and awareness of enterprise expectations. Enough to move through early procurement without slowing down.

Lightweight reporting

A simple, consistent rhythm for updates and metrics. Clear signals on progress, priorities, and challenges. Not long board packs.

Decision discipline

Clear agendas, documented decisions, follow-up tracking. These habits create focus and accountability without overhead.

What we don't push at pre-seed

We deliberately avoid heavy frameworks, certifications, or formal structures before they're needed. Governance should evolve with the company, not get ahead of it.

Why it matters

Companies selling technology into complex, asset-heavy environments face enterprise expectations earlier than they expect. Teams that build the right foundations early move faster when opportunities arise.

Done well, governance supports speed, trust, and long-term adoption, without getting in the way.
