Building the technology layer of the built environment

We back founders applying AI and data to modernise complex, capital-intensive industries where precision, reliability, and long-term adoption matter.

Three pillars

01

Asset intelligence & decision systems

AI- and data-driven technologies that improve risk assessment, capital allocation, and performance management across asset-heavy environments.

02

Digitising workflows

Technologies that replace manual, fragmented processes with integrated, scalable workflows. Durable value comes from behavioural change and operational integration.

03

Resilience & infrastructure

Technologies supporting the monitoring, maintenance, and long-term operation of critical physical systems. Extending asset life, reducing downtime, improving reliability.

Why now

Three things are converging.

First, operational pressure. Asset-heavy industries face rising complexity: labour shortages, regulatory demands, ageing infrastructure, and increasing expectations from institutional capital around reporting and performance.

Second, a technology step-change. Foundation models, modern data infrastructure, and cloud-native tooling have made it possible to build sophisticated, enterprise-grade solutions at the earliest stages. What required a Series B budget five years ago can now be built by a small, well-focused team.

Third, a funding gap. European pre-seed capital for built environment technology remains structurally underserved. The founders building here are world-class. The infrastructure to back them at the earliest stage is not.

We are here to close that gap.

Adjacencies

We also consider adjacent systems connected to the built environment, including energy management, urban mobility, supply chain logistics, and environmental sensing, where similar dynamics of fragmentation and complexity create attractive opportunities for technology-led transformation.
